As their late father, the venerated SOSSA GUEDEHOUNGUE, Priest of Vodoun religion independent nationally and internationally President of traditional religions " les freres GUEDEHOUNGUE " are promoting Africans cultures with a special kind of music which has its source in ancestral tradition. From the same father and born in sacred forests of Sahoue Doutou in south of Mono and initiated to the sacred rites of ancestors the young singers by their talent imposed, themselves as the most important drummers of traditional convents, rituals an other ceremonies. In 1996 the four singers decided to form a group of music in order to promote ancestral cultures and brink something elf se to African music. Ten years later that dream will be achieved In fact after many bright performances, they appeared with their first album "AZANGBAN" that had an outstanding success, they were thus considered as a great reference of Benin music and defenders of African cultures. In 2007 they were double finalist of Benin Golden Awards (BGA), Winners of HOKAN international Awards and were voted best group of music of the year 2007. In order to satisfy their publics and their fans their second album appeared one 23th December 2007. This album had also a terrible success and turned them into stars. Their celebrity interests many international televisions particularly France 3 and TVS that made on them a documentary.
