NOELIE, by her real name EKOUWONOU Y. Dessiade was born on the 25th December , 1980, at Badou in TOGO. From her young age, one could see what she desired to become.
In July 2001, Noelie got her Advanced Level Certificate in Art. She impressed throughout her academic course by her musical performances in songs and dances.
In 1999, she became member of "Voice of Miracle" musical group of her church where she surprised more than one as young as she was by her ability in "live" music.
Since that year, Noelie has been called for so many times in sound recording studios, on concerts stage by her seniors such as Dana Freitas, Thomassin, Petit Clement to mention but a few.
Thus on April 21, 2003, Noelie has influenced the Togolese Gospel World during the launching concert of her first album "I owe Jesus".
This album has revealed her tramendous talent and has propeled her on the international scale.
During the same year, she was named finalist in the same category of the Best Gospel songs women Artist beside her model Rebecca MALOPE in Kora Awards.
In 2004, she represented her nation TOGO in the international "Gospel et Racines" festival in Cotonou (BENIN). Therefore this first album has given her entry to more than ten (10) Countries where she has increased the number of her fans and has proved that she is indeed a Star.
In January 2007, during her stay in Europe, Noelie gave joy to her fans of France, Germany and Belgium during a "live" concert at Praise Center in Bruxelles.
Back to her Country, she continued her work in studio and on the 1st July she launched her second album titled "Le nom de Jesus". She is firmly decided more than before to honour the name of God for without him she is nothing.
The artist Noelie has many projects she is willing to accomplish in months and years to come together with her husband who is a music lecturer, arranger and professional Bass guitar player with whom she will engage so soon.
Noelie likes nature; she loves children and is ready to give all for their joy to be complet.
